Punjab Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana Crosses Six Lakh Treatments

Punjab marked Independence Day by reaching a big step in public welfare. Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana has provided over 6,06,892 cashless treatments to citizens in just seven months. This scheme offers coverage of up to ₹10 lakh per family every year. It makes sure that medical care is reachable for everyone.

Scheme reach and medical support

State data shows that 26,18,712 people are currently signed up. The scheme covers many medical needs. This includes 60,504 cancer cases, 1,99,417 dialysis sessions, and many heart procedures. There are 880 hospitals linked to the scheme across the state. The government has spent a lot of money to support both public and private hospitals. Patiala has the highest number of patients, while Bathinda has recorded the highest spending at ₹200 crore. The scheme provides support to families facing high treatment costs for serious illnesses.
