Punjab Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna Reaches 76 Lakh Women

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced that 76.11 lakh women registered for Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna. The state government sent 2,381 crore rupees to the bank accounts of 68.06 lakh people.

Payment details

Women from the general category get 1,000 rupees every month. Women from Scheduled Castes get 1,500 rupees per month. The Chief Minister confirmed the scheme will continue while the current government is in power.

About 1.37 lakh Satkar Sakhis helped with the registrations. These volunteers earned 52.20 crore rupees for their work, as they get 300 rupees for each registration. The government provides this money to support these women.
