Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana to launch in October
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana will start for mothers this October. This scheme helps women across the state.
Women safety updates
The government is starting two new women police battalions to improve safety. These units are named after Matangini Hazra and Rani Rashmani. Also, a women's emergency helpline at 112 will start on Mahalaya.
