PMKVY 4.0 Launched to Boost Youth Employability

Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat recently launched Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0. This scheme helps youth across the country get short-term training, up-skilling, and re-skilling to improve their job chances. The government wants to match training with current industry needs using digital platforms like Skill India Digital Hub.

Training support for all

The scheme includes special help for women and persons with disabilities (PwD). Training providers get up to 5,000 rupees for each PwD candidate to pay for needed devices. Also, the scheme provides money for boarding, lodging, and travel costs to make sure everyone can take part. This effort guides young people toward different career paths through better orientation and practical skill training.
