PMFBY Registration Deadline Extended in Odisha

Farmers in Odisha can now register for Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for the Kharif 2026 season until August 31. This extension helps more farmers protect their crops from possible losses.

Registration is open for loanee farmers in Ganjam, Kalahandi, Puri, Subarnapur, Baragada, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Jajpur, and Jagatsinghpur. Eligible farmers in all other districts can also apply. You can insure paddy, maize, groundnut, ragi, cotton, arhar, ginger, and turmeric.

Insurance is free for land up to five acres. You only need to pay Re 1 per plot for verification. Apply before the deadline if you are a loanee, non-loanee, or sharecropper needing coverage. Submit required documents through the official process to get benefits.
