PM Vishwakarma Yojana Empowers Artisans in Neemuch

PM Vishwakarma Yojana is helping traditional artisans and small workers in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. District officials say 36,000 people have applied for the scheme since it started. So far, 5,500 candidates are registered, and 5,050 people have finished skill training in areas like carpentry, barber services, and beauty parlour management.

Financial support details

Money support is a main part of this scheme. The district office has approved loans for 1,800 beneficiaries, with a total payment of 15.5 crore rupees. This money helps local business owners move from small kiosks to their own shops. People also get 500 rupees every day during their 15-day training, plus a toolkit for their work. This effort supports the Vocal for Local goal by helping small workers become successful business owners.
