PM Kisan Scheme Extended Until 2031

Union Cabinet has approved the continuation of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme for another five years. This covers the period from 2026-27 to 2030-31 with a budget of ₹3.15 lakh crore.

Eligible farmer families will continue to receive ₹6,000 every year in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each. This money goes to your bank account directly through the DBT payment system. It helps cover agricultural costs like seeds and fertilisers. Since the scheme started in 2019, over ₹4.47 lakh crore has been sent to farmers across the country.
