Odisha to Begin PMAY House Allocations in September

Rural families in Odisha will soon see house allocations under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The first phase starts this September, following a statewide survey of 38 lakh households.

Officials are checking the list of eligible people right now. This verification work ends on August 27. Distribution will start once the final list is submitted. This progress follows a meeting between Odisha Minister Rabi Narayan Naik and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. You can check the PMAY Odisha List once the government releases it.

Viksit Bharat-Gram initiative

Odisha is also starting the Viksit Bharat-Gram scheme. With a budget of around ₹5,000 crore for this year, the scheme helps with rural work opportunities and builds community facilities in villages across the state.
