Odisha Orders Urgent Clearance of 63,848 Pending Pension Applications
Odisha government ordered all district collectors to clear a backlog of 63,848 pending applications for Madhu Babu Pension Yojana. Principal Secretary Suresh Kumar Vashishth stated the checking process for these online applications must be finished by August 18.
Application processing update
Most pending cases are stuck at the block level or in urban offices. This action helps make sure eligible people get their support without extra delay. It also helps remove ineligible people from the system. Right now, over 36.75 lakh people across the state get help through this social security scheme.
