Odisha Distributes 5160 Crore Under Subhadra Yojana

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi sent over ₹5,160 crore to more than one crore women in the state. This fifth payment for Subhadra Yojana was released on August 28, 2026, at an event in Lathipada, Nayagarh district.

Payment Details

A total of 1,03,26,162 women received money. This includes 2,21,054 women added to the scheme for the first time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi started this scheme on September 17, 2024. It gives eligible women ₹10,000 yearly, paid in two equal parts.
