Odisha CM Clarifies Paddy Procurement Registration Process

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi shared details about paddy procurement in Odisha. During the 78th Independence Day celebrations, he confirmed that AgriStack registration is not linked to P-PASS registration for selling paddy. Farmers can complete their P-PASS registration as usual without worry.

Government support for farmers and families

State government continues to provide a support price of Rs 3100 per quintal for paddy. Also, the government keeps helping farmers through PM-Kisan, CM-Kisan, Mukhyamantri Krushi Udyog Yojana, and the Kamdhenu Scheme. Farmers hit by floods already received Rs 136 crore as initial help.

Government efforts also focus on women-focused schemes such as Subhadra, Lakhpati Didi, and Mukhyamantri Kanyavivah Yojana. Another scheme, Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangal Yojana, provides Rs 1 lakh to girls after graduation.
