MP Board Class 12 Students Get ₹25,000 Laptop Cash: 1.22 Lakh Beneficiaries

More than 1.22 lakh Class 12 students in Madhya Pradesh have received ₹25,000 each under Pratibhashali Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made the payment on September 1, 2026, in Bhopal. Total budget for the scheme is ₹304.98 crore.

Who can apply?

Students need 75% or more in MP Board (MPBSE) Class 12 exams. SC/ST/OBC students need 70% or more. Students also need to pass in the first attempt, with no failed subjects. CBSE and ICSE students don't qualify.

There is no application form to fill. Your school prepares the list. The district education officer checks it. Money goes directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account. Keep your account details updated with the school. You can check your status on the official Shiksha Portal.

Students get cash, not a fixed laptop model. They can pick the device that fits their course, whether they are arts students or engineering students. This helps students from smaller towns.
