Maihar Receives Rs 256 Crore Development Boost

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Maihar on 20 August 2026. He launched development projects worth ₹256 crore. During the event, he sent funds to 1.25 crore sisters under Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana. This included an extra ₹250 for Raksha Bandhan. The Chief Minister also started the first phase of Maa Sharda Lok. He announced a new electricity substation in Badera and a modern hospital for the district.

Infrastructure and welfare updates

Infrastructure work includes fixing Lilji Pond for ₹50 crore and building a gaushala for 5,000 cattle. Also, the Bargi Canal tunnel is now complete. Narmada river water will soon reach farmers in Maihar, Satna, and Rewa. Benefits were also given to eligible people under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Udyam Kranti Yojana to help with local income.
