Mahalir Thittam Staff Receive Pending Salaries in Tamil Nadu
Nearly 200 staff members working under Mahalir Thittam and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in Madurai and Theni have received their wages. These employees waited for their pay since March 2026 and faced money problems during the five-month delay.
Payment process update
After a report shared their situation, officials paid the pending dues on Monday. Staff members, including Assistant Project Officers and Data Entry Operators, were also told that future salaries will be paid on time. This change helps workers who rely on their monthly income to support their families.
