Weather officials issued a heavy rain alert for 16 districts on August 22. This includes Niwari, Tikamgarh, and Chhatarpur. These areas expect 4 to 8 inches of rain. The system will move toward central and western parts of the state by August 24.

The state has seen 23.6 inches of rain this season. This is 11% less than the normal average of 26.6 inches. Stay cautious if you live in these areas. Heavy rain is also expected in Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, and other districts over the next 48 hours.
