Madhya Pradesh CM Suspends 7 Officials for Negligence in Barwani

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took action against officials for poor work in Barwani district. During a public meeting under Mukhyamantri Jan-Vishwas Abhiyan, the Chief Minister ordered the immediate suspension of seven government staff for not running welfare schemes properly.

Those suspended include the District Panchayat CEO, two Chief Municipal Officers, one Tehsildar, two Patwaris, and one Assistant Engineer. They were negligent in managing schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), and Sambal Yojana. The Chief Minister made it clear that delays in public services are not acceptable.

Development plans for Barwani

The state government also announced new projects for Barwani. This includes ₹25 crore for building new Narmada river ghats and ₹10 crore for an Adarsh Krishi Upaj Mandi.
