Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Extends Key Welfare Schemes for Five Years

Madhya Pradesh cabinet, led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, has approved the extension of several welfare schemes. Both Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana and Mukhyamantri Ladli Lakshmi Yojana will run for another five years. The government set a budget of ₹1,14,365 crore for Ladli Behna and ₹16,326 crore for Ladli Lakshmi to provide ongoing support.

Details of government support

The cabinet also approved Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana for 2026-2031 with a budget of ₹2,137 crore. Public health is also a top priority. The government sanctioned ₹11,835 crore to improve health services, hospital buildings, and incentives for ASHA workers.

Naman Mission will work to protect Narmada River. Also, agricultural and road projects have received administrative approval.
