Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves Rs 734 Crore for Science and Technology

Madhya Pradesh government approved a budget of Rs 734 crore for science and technology projects. This covers the period from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav shared that the state will focus on national AI training and youth talent programs. The plan includes a strong focus on research and training.

State welfare and river conservation

Cabinet members also started NAMAN Mission to protect Narmada river. It has an annual grant of Rs 200 crore. Also, the state kept funding for main welfare schemes like Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. These have a total commitment of nearly Rs 1.46 lakh crore.

More than 1.25 crore women will get a total of Rs 2,148 crore under Ladli Behna Yojana. This amount includes a special Raksha Bandhan gift.
