Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves Rs 10,630 Crore Development Package

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav led the cabinet in approving a Rs 10,630 crore investment plan on August 25, 2026. This money is for infrastructure, health services, and social welfare across Madhya Pradesh.

## Infrastructure and Welfare Plans

The plan includes a Rs 4,600 crore loan guarantee for road projects and Rs 3,960.09 crore to build a 91.64-km four-lane highway between Seoni and Balaghat. Also, the government approved Rs 1,740 crore to keep 19 social justice schemes running until 2031, which helps senior citizens and people with disabilities.

The cabinet also focused on digital safety and education. They set aside Rs 80 crore for the MP-CERT cybersecurity centre and created 244 new jobs for the Dhanwantri Health University in Ujjain. Also, the state will give cash rewards to players and coaches from the gold-medal-winning Women's T20 Blind Cricket World Cup team.
