Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves Rs 1.46 Lakh Crore for Welfare Schemes

Cabinet in Bhopal, led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, approved a budget of over ₹1.46 lakh crore. This funding helps run welfare and development schemes from 2026 to 2031. A main part of this is approval for NAMAN Mission, which works to protect Narmada River.

Focus on families

Government has focused on support for women and families. It allocated ₹1,14,365 crore for Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, which helps 1.27 crore women. Also, ₹16,326.47 crore is kept for Ladli Laxmi Yojana and ₹2,137.65 crore for Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. These funds give cash support to mothers and help girl child welfare.

Health services receive ₹11,835.35 crore for building hospitals and paying ASHA workers. Cabinet also approved ₹870.16 crore for farming and ₹734 crore to support scientific research across the state. This is a commitment to the future of Madhya Pradesh.
