Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves Rs 1.46 Lakh Crore for Welfare and Skill Initiatives

Madhya Pradesh government approved a budget of Rs 1,46,000 crore for public welfare. Of this, Rs 1,14,365 crore goes to the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana. This scheme gives Rs 1,500 every month to 1.27 crore women.

New support for youth and sports

Helping youth is a main priority. The state will offer free online coaching for competitive exams. Plans are in place to train one crore youth in Artificial Intelligence during the next year. Also, a local talent hunt will find sports stars between 5 and 15 years old in every village and school.

Other funds include Rs 16,326.47 crore for Madhya Pradesh Ladli Lakshmi Yojana and Rs 2,137.65 crore for Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. The Cabinet also started the Naman Mission to clean the Narmada River, with a yearly budget of Rs 200 crore.
