Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves Infrastructure and Welfare Projects Worth Rs 10,630 Crore

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently led a cabinet meeting that approved financial plans worth over ₹10,630 crore. This includes a ₹4,600 crore loan guarantee for Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation to build 12 new roads. NABARD will fund these projects, and toll fees will cover the repayments.

Infrastructure and welfare plans

The cabinet also approved ₹3,960.09 crore for a 91.64-km four-lane highway between Seoni and Balaghat. For social welfare, the government set aside ₹1,740 crore to keep 19 schemes running for at-risk groups, including senior citizens and people with disabilities, until 2031.

Other updates include 244 new jobs at Dhanwantri Health University in Ujjain and ₹80 crore for MP-CERT cybersecurity center. Cash rewards will also go to gold-medal-winning blind cricket players and their coaches.
