Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves 47990 Crore Development Package

Madhya Pradesh Cabinet recently approved a development plan worth nearly ₹47,990 crore. This work focuses on roads and public health across the state. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav led the meeting where officials approved ₹1,757.55 crore to widen the Bhopal-Vidisha road into a four-lane corridor. This project will improve travel safety and connectivity for the capital area.
Health and infrastructure projects
A large part of the funding, ₹44,515.13 crore, is set aside for health schemes running from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031. This includes support for National Health Mission and Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Other approvals cover forest department schemes, soybean research in Sehore district, and tourism training programs.
