Livestock Distribution Programme Held in Ampi Nagar

Ompi block veterinary hospital held a livestock distribution programme on 21 August 2026 in Gomati, Tripura. Under Mukhyamantri Prani Sampad Bikash Yojana 2026-27, officials provided support to 35 local families to help increase their income.

The programme included goats for 10 people, pigs for 10 people, and ducklings for 15 people. Each person receiving ducklings also got 20 birds, a cage, and 5kg of feed. MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia, BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, and MDC Kamal Kalai attended the event. They encouraged villagers to look after their new animals with care.

Scheme goals

Veterinary officer Lampra Debbarma managed this rural income support programme. It helps local families earn more while encouraging better farming practices across the state. This scheme helps increase the production of milk, meat, and eggs to provide more money to farmers.
