Women in Maharashtra are looking forward to Rakshabandhan. Many hope to receive a special payment under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana this year. Although the government has not made an official announcement, some talk about a possible bonus installment or special package for the festival.

Monthly payments of ₹1,500 usually reach accounts by the 15th of each month. Since August 15, 2026, is Independence Day, many people expect the July and August payments soon. Some reports say funds might arrive by August 20.

Launched in July 2024, this scheme supports women aged 21 to 65 from families earning under ₹2.5 lakh per year. Make sure your e-KYC is done to avoid payment delays. The government is checking records now to remove ineligible applicants.
