Karnataka Includes IVF Treatment Under Ayushman Scheme

Update for families in Karnataka. State government has included Assisted Reproductive Technology procedures in Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Chief Minister's Arogya Karnataka scheme. This helps childless couples from poor families who cannot afford high treatment costs.

Fertility treatment coverage

Health Minister U T Khader confirmed that fertility treatments like IVF, ICSI, and frozen embryo transfer are now covered. This starts as a one-year pilot project. It is currently limited to 120 Priority Household and BPL cardholders. This step helps reduce the emotional and financial burden on poor families across the state.
