Kalahandi District Approves Rs 4318 Crore Annual Development Plan

Kalahandi District Planning Committee approved a Rs 4,318 crore Annual Action Plan for the 2026-27 financial year. Dharamgarh MLA Sudhir Ranjan Pattajoshi led the meeting. The group focused on improving social services and rural infrastructure. This plan prioritizes urban housing, education, and health to improve local living standards.

Budget and infrastructure updates

Officials also confirmed an allocation of Rs 6.30 crore annually under the KBK Vikas Yojana for 2024-25 to 2026-27. Local leaders requested a new bridge over Ghoraghat Nallah to solve traffic problems in Bhabanipatana. Citizens are donating land to help with this project.
