Jal Jeevan Mission: 39,255 pending tap connections in Pune to be completed by March 2027
Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol told officials to finish all pending water supply schemes and 39,255 remaining tap connections under Jal Jeevan Mission in Pune district by March 2027. He gave this order during a District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting on 9 September 2026.
Pmay-urban 2.0 status
Under PMAY-Urban 2.0, Pune Municipal Corporation finished checking applications and found 3,227 eligible applicants. Officials must speed up land acquisition and transfer for 6,800 houses planned in Mamurdi, Punawale, Wadmukhwadi, Tathawade, and Chovisawadi.
