INA Solar Wins 99 MW Solar Project Contract in Maharashtra

Insolation Green Energy, a subsidiary of Insolation Energy, secured a Letter of Award from MSEDCL. This project is part of Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 and involves setting up nine solar power plants across Maharashtra.

Project details and scope

These ground-mounted projects have a total capacity of 99 MW AC, which equals 128.7 MW DC. The company plans an investment of ₹425 crore. They expect to generate 20.59 crore units of electricity every year.

The project works under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement at a rate of ₹2.90 per unit. Construction must finish within 18 months from the date of the agreement.
