IIT Dharwad Offers Free AI Course Under PM VIKAS Scheme

IIT Dharwad is now accepting applications for a one-year residential course in Artificial Intelligence. This training happens under Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) scheme. You must submit your application online by August 31, 2026.

Graduates, ITI candidates, and final-year undergraduate students can apply. Selected participants get free training, boarding, and lodging. The government also gives a monthly stipend of 1,000 rupees. After finishing the course, students earn a certificate from the Sector Skill Council and receive a 4,000 rupees bonus once they land a job. Like Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, this scheme helps people find work through skill training.
