ICAR and RECPDCL sign agreement for 11.1 MW rooftop solar installation
ICAR signed an agreement with RECPDCL to set up grid-connected rooftop solar systems at 76 ICAR institutes. This project covers 24 States and Union Territories with a total capacity of 11,109.87 kW.
Project details
RECPDCL is the partner for this project, which will produce 1.73 crore units of electricity every year. The work includes design, supply, installation, and five years of operation and maintenance. ICAR funds these systems, which follow the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana rules where RECPDCL helps solarise government buildings.
