Himachal Pradesh to Disburse Rs. 20.61 Crore to Construction Workers
Himachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board is distributing ₹20.61 crore in money help to 4,967 workers. Announced on August 15, 2026, this payment covers 14 different schemes, such as marriage, education, and housing support.
Payment distribution details
The state has 4,84,860 registered workers. To make the process clear, the Board finished 98,000 e-KYC checks to remove ineligible people. Officials said ₹8.98 crore is for marriage help and ₹7.89 crore is for education. The government plans to increase total welfare payments to ₹300 crore in the next year.
