Himachal Pradesh Launches Ozone-Based Water Project in Dehra

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the first ozone-based drinking water treatment project for the state in the Dehra area of Kangra district. The government set aside Rs 46 crore for this project to give people clean and safe water. Plans are in place to build more of these projects across the state to stop waterborne diseases.

New services and ongoing schemes

While visiting Baddal Thor, the Chief Minister also opened a new veterinary hospital to better animal healthcare services in the area. He pointed out the progress made by Mukhyamantri Ka Apna Parivar Sukhi Parivar Yojana, where surveys at the panchayat level are going on now. Also, Rajiv Gandhi Van Samvardhan Yojana continues to help self-help groups with Rs 1.20 lakh in money help for forest protection work. The state government remains focused on welfare schemes like the Himachal Pradesh Mukhyamantri Roshni Yojana to help poor families.
