Haryana Government Announces Expansion of Lado Lakshmi Yojana

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini recently talked about state plans for development and social harmony. At a public event in Rewari, he confirmed that the Lado Lakshmi Yojana website will open again in September. This update lets women from families earning up to Rs 1.80 lakh per year apply for benefits. The government already sent Rs 2,042 crore to 10 lakh women through this scheme over the last 18 months.

Support for students and families

The Chief Minister also shared details on study support, such as free coaching for Scheduled Caste students from families earning up to Rs 2.50 lakh. Other active schemes include the Dr Ambedkar Meritorious Students Scholarship Scheme and the Mukhyamantri Vivah Shagun Yojana. This scheme provides Rs 71,000 for the marriage of daughters in Scheduled Caste families. Also, the state is working to set up libraries in every panchayat to help students prepare for competitive exams.
