Haryana CM Highlights Development and Welfare Schemes on Independence Day

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini marked the 80th Independence Day by mentioning progress in helping women and creating jobs. Under Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, the state has given ₹2,100 every month to nearly 10 lakh women. This totals ₹2,042 crore in support. The government also noted that over two lakh youth found jobs through clear recruitment steps during the last 12 years.

Recent welfare updates

Updates for welfare schemes include Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana, which provides LPG cylinders at ₹500 to 15 lakh families. Also, the social security pension has increased to ₹3,200 each month. The Chief Minister added that 24 crops are now bought at Minimum Support Price. This resulted in ₹1.86 lakh crore sent directly to 12 lakh farmers. New industrial policies aim to bring in ₹5 lakh crore in investments and create 10 lakh jobs in the next five years.
