Haryana CM Approves Rs 30 Crore Development Plan for Mewat

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini led the 32nd meeting of Mewat Development Board on August 29, 2026. He approved an Annual Action Plan of about ₹30.44 crore for the 2026-27 financial year. This plan helps make Nuh a work hub for local youth.

Plan details

Approved plan points include:

• Education: ₹10.06 crore for dual desks, STEM labs in 20 schools, and free coaching for government exams.
• Infrastructure: ₹12.52 crore for a sports complex and ₹20.92 crore for an auditorium-cum-museum under Divya Nagar Yojana.
• Environment: ₹5.42 crore for forestry and rainwater harvesting.
• Technology: ₹1.16 crore for a new Cyber Forensic Laboratory.

Government supports students through Mewat Scholarship, Post-Matric Scholarship, and Chhatra Pratibha Samman Yojana. Also, a 2,900-metre bypass sewer line will be built to improve sanitation for people in nearly a dozen local colonies.
