Government Launches Rs 3,030 Crore BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme for Chemical Parks

Government has officially notified BHAVYA Rasayan scheme to set up three greenfield chemical parks across India. This plan, part of the 2026-27 Union Budget, aims to increase local manufacturing and lower dependence on imports.

## Scheme Funding and Requirements

The scheme has a total budget of 3,030 crore rupees and will run until 2031. The Centre will provide up to 1,000 crore rupees for each park. States must contribute at least 500 crore rupees each. States must offer at least 2,000 acres of land for these projects. Selection will happen through a competitive process.

These parks will feature shared facilities like treatment plants, waste management systems, and logistics support to help industries lower costs. This work is a big step for Viksit Bharat 2047 by attracting investments and creating jobs in the chemical sector.
