Goa EDC Reports Strong Financials and New Entrepreneurial Relief Schemes

Goa Economic Development Corporation reached a big step for the 2025-26 year. It earned Rs 128 crore in revenue and a profit of Rs 69 crore. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant confirmed these figures after the 409th board meeting. The state is committed to supporting local businesses and the MSME sector.
Policy updates
Several policy changes will support new businesses in the state. Mukhyamantri Modified Interest Rebate Scheme now offers an extra 5 percent rebate for solar projects. It also adds a new rebate of up to Rs 15 lakh for loans under the Working Capital Term Loan Scheme.
The government also launched an Easy Exit Scheme for Chief Minister Rojgar Yojana (CMRY) borrowers. This scheme helps entrepreneurs with failed businesses. They can repay only the principal amount within two years. All interest charges will be removed.
