Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Board runs Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Shramik Puraskar Rashi Yojana to support children of registered workers. This scheme gives cash rewards to students who do well in High School, Intermediate, and higher education studies.

How much students get

Students who score between 60 percent and 74.99 percent get ₹5,000. Students scoring 75 percent or more get ₹7,500. To apply, a parent must be a registered worker in a factory or commercial business in Uttar Pradesh. The worker must earn no more than ₹15,000 per month. Also, the student needs at least 60 percent marks in their exam.
