Delhi Master Plan 2047 Officially Notified
Union government issued the Gazette notification for Master Plan for Delhi 2047 on August 20, 2026. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs published this under Section 11-A of Delhi Development Act, 1957. The framework sets a long-term vision for the capital. It replaces the old planning horizon. This follows Delhi Development Authority approval from August 12, 2026.
Plan goals
This plan guides urban growth until 2047. It focuses on housing, infrastructure, transport, and environment. The work follows the draft MPD-2041. Agencies will now start implementing these policies into zonal plans.
