Delhi Laxmi Yojana Monthly Aid Starting September 1

Delhi government will launch Delhi Laxmi Yojana on September 1, 2026. Eligible women will get monthly cash benefit of Rs 2,500. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta confirmed that pension letters will be given out starting August 26 at Talkatora Stadium. The payment is split to help with daily needs and long-term security.
Payment details
Beneficiaries will get Rs 1,500 locked into a regular or fixed deposit until July 31, 2029. The other Rs 1,000 will be sent to a CBDC wallet for daily needs, except for things like alcohol or gambling. To qualify, women must be aged 21 to 60, have a Delhi voter ID, and have a family income under Rs 2.5 lakh. You must have lived in Delhi for at least ten years. Government employees, taxpayers, and those getting other pensions cannot apply. You can apply at any time, but applications are processed based on a monthly cut-off on the last day of each month.
