Delhi Lakshmi Yojana: Sanction Letters Distribution Starts

Delhi government will launch Lakshmi Yojana on August 26 at Talkatora Stadium. About 4,000 women will get their official sanction letters at this event. Cash benefit of ₹2,500 every month will reach bank accounts starting September 1.

Scheme details

The scheme helps women aged 21 to 60 years. Women have options for getting funds, such as digital currency or fixed deposits. So far, 6.52 lakh applications have been submitted out of 9.13 lakh registrations. Correction facilities for missing information will be available on the official website soon.

Some groups cannot apply. This includes income-tax payers, government employees, and families owning four-wheelers or using over 2,400 units of electricity each year.
