Delhi Lakshmi Yojana RD Maturity and Registration Updates

Delhi Lakshmi Yojana launched on August 26. The maturity date for its recurring deposit part is July 31, 2029. This date matches the next Lok Sabha election year. However, the Council of Ministers can review and change this date two years after the launch.

Eligible women get Rs 2,500 monthly. This amount is split between a recurring deposit and a digital currency wallet. If you do not have an Aadhaar card, you can register using an enrolment slip. You also need to show other documents like a PAN card or voter ID. The Women and Child Development Department helps eligible people with Aadhaar enrolment at their district offices.

Eligibility and exclusions

This scheme is for women aged 21 to 60. You must be the eldest woman in your house. The family income must be under Rs 2.5 lakh. You cannot apply if you pay income tax or work for the government. Families who own four-wheelers or use over 2,400 units of electricity each year also cannot apply. First monthly payments start on September 1.
