Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Pension Letters Distribution Starts August 26

Eligible women under Delhi Lakshmi Yojana get their pension letters on August 26 at Talkatora Stadium. Monthly cash support starts September 1. More than 8 lakh people registered on the official portal in 18 days, with over 5 lakh applications already submitted.

Scheme benefits include ₹2,500 every month. Of this, ₹1,500 goes into a locked deposit until July 31, 2029. The remaining ₹1,000 goes to a bank account linked to a CBDC wallet. You can track your status on the portal using your mobile number and date of birth.

Eligibility Rules

To apply, you must meet a few requirements:

• Be the eldest woman in your family aged 21 to 60.
• Have a family income below ₹2.5 lakh per year.
• Live in Delhi for at least 10 years.
• Keep your annual household electricity use under 2,400 units.

Applications are accepted all year. If you apply by the end of any month, your payment starts the next month.
