Delhi Lakshmi Yojana: Monthly Financial Aid for Women

Delhi government launched Delhi Lakshmi Yojana to help women from poor families. Eligible women get monthly cash of ₹2,500. Payments start from September 1, 2026.

Eligibility and requirements

To apply, you must be a woman living in Delhi aged 21 to 60. You should be the eldest woman in your family. Your annual income must be ₹2.5 lakhs or less. Check your eligibility carefully before you apply.

You must also meet these rules:

• Have 3 or fewer children.
• Used less than 2,400 units of electricity in the last year.
• Do not own a four-wheeler.

Government employees, income-tax payers, and GST filers cannot get this benefit.

You can apply online through the official portal. Keep these documents ready:

• Aadhaar details.
• Bank account linked to CBDC.
• Endorsement letter from an MP or MLA.

You also need proof that you have lived in Delhi for at least 10 years.
