Delhi Lakshmi Yojana: Benefit Letters and Monthly Aid Schedule Announced

Eligible women enrolled under Delhi Lakshmi Yojana will start getting their official benefit letters on August 26. A function is planned at Talkatora Stadium for this. After this, the monthly cash help of ₹2,500 will reach people starting September 1.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta confirmed that the government has set up the payment process. Eligible people can choose how to get their money. They can pick ₹1,000 in central bank digital currency and ₹1,500 in a fixed or regular deposit. Or, they can choose to put the full ₹2,500 into a deposit.

Application progress and updates

The scheme has received a good response. There are 8 lakh registrations and 5 lakh finished applications from the first 18 days. District-level groups are now checking these applications. A correction facility will open soon on the official website for those who need to update missing details.
