Bihar Receives Major Housing and Agricultural Support

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently shared that the government approved 11,18,937 new houses for poor families in Bihar. This scheme has a budget of ₹13,427 crore. Over the last two years, the government has approved 24,30,327 houses for the state, costing ₹29,164 crore.

New support for Bihar

The minister confirmed that Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana will now run in Bihar. This helps farmers cover crop losses from natural disasters. Also, the state has made 53,83,000 Farmer IDs to make getting scheme benefits easier. To help women, the government will set up She-Marts in every district. These will help Lakhpati Didis and Self-Help Groups sell their products. These steps, along with Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, will help rural life by improving roads, housing, and farm income.
