Bihar Launches Financial Assistance for Sindhu Darshan Yatra

Bihar Tourism Department has launched Sindhu Darshan Pilgrimage Financial Assistance Grant Scheme-2026. Permanent residents of Bihar aged 18 and above can get money help for their trip to Leh-Ladakh.

How to get support

The government covers 50% of travel costs, up to Rs 20,000 per person. You must finish your trip before you apply. Make sure to send your application within 60 days of coming back. Keep your original travel documents like tickets, permits, and receipts, as you need these to get your money.

This scheme helps make travel to the Indus River area more affordable for people in Bihar and supports cultural and religious tourism.
