Bihar Government Launches Three New Welfare Schemes for Women

Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary started three schemes to help women with safety, education, and business in Bihar. Before Rakshabandhan, the government sent out 4,700 two-wheelers for the Abhaya brigade to help police patrol and keep women and students safe.

The state also started the Chief Minister Balika PhD Fellowship. This scheme gives a monthly payment of 10,000 rupees for four years to 1,000 female research scholars.

Support for women entrepreneurs

Also, the Bihar Ki Beti Startup Challenge Yojana will help 2,100 women entrepreneurs. They will get seed money between 50,000 rupees and 2 lakh rupees to help with local ideas and work opportunities.
