Bihar Disburses 17300 Crore to JEEViKA Women

Bihar government has sent a total of 17,300 crore to women in the JEEViKA network. This scheme helps women in villages earn their own money. Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar said 16,700 crore came from the Chief Minister's Incentive Scheme, while 600 crore was released recently.

New financial support for women

The government announced new money for 5 lakh women through the Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana. The plan works like this:

• 4 lakh women get 10,000 each.
• 1 lakh women get 20,000 as a second payment.
• 10,000 women get 50 crore in loans from the JEEViKA fund.

The state is also building new markets and haats to help these women sell goods at better prices. Also, the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme has already helped over 2 lakh families move to new work with money support. People can check their DBT Bihar Payment Status online to see if their funds arrived.
